The Backpacker Tour Company - starts blogging
Hello world,
Welcome to the very first Backpacker tour blog - brand new today. We are a independent tour company offerring tours of the UK, Europe, Australia, the Middle East, the USA and Canada. We also offer the chance to visit some of the best parties in the world - from the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona to Hogmanay in Edinburgh - our party crew will be there to show the ropes and get you into the best places.
To all of our American cousins a big Happy Thanksgiving - (this includes the 100 or so students from London Metroplolitan University that we've got booked into the Medieval Banquet in London - which for under £40 includes a 4 course meal and unlimited beer and wine for over 2 1/2 hours) I expect that most of you will sitting down for turkey, pumpkin pie, American football and the better part of a case of beer. You have to admire a holiday that focuses on eating, drinking and sport.
Well just over a month to go until Christmas - and we still have Chritsmas packages to Scotland and Ireland as well a few places left for Turkey and Egypt. Ireland's a great place to spend the holidays - most of the tours will be spending 2 nights in a classic Irish pub on the dingle peninsula - you might not want to come home! With most Ski resorts fully booked for Christmas we (don't ask me how) have managed to come up with probably the last available Chalet in Meribel - the place is fantastic and you can ski from the front door to the nearest lift, it sleeps 10 and is available from December 18th - 28th 2005 price includes all breakfasts and 8 evening meals, Champagne breakfast on Christmas morning and Christmas Evening meal (once you have recovered from breakfast that is) with all the trimmings. All of this for just 279 GBP per person - if your quick and have 10 mates we will even do a deal - just email us for details. You'll need to sort out your own flights/transport - but we can help airport transfers one you get there.
Well that's about it for today - I'll leave you with a link to brilliant story about some Irish fisherman and 8 thousand bottles of booze that were bound for Spain in time for Christmas.Take care - Michael
